Microstructure Evaluation Study of Al5083 Alloy Using EBSD Technique after Processing with Different ECAP Processes and Temperatures

چکیده

The temperature effects on the microstructural evolution of a coarse-grained Al5083 alloy during equal channel angular pressing (ECAP), were studied at ambient and high temperatures. evaluation was done using an EBSD (electron backscattering diffraction) process. grain refinement occurred as number passes increased, which had positive effect its strength. Additionally, increasing leads to decrease in new grain’s formation increase normal size third pass. This can be ascribed unwinding strain similarity between grains because continuous activity dynamic recuperation limit sliding occurring higher temperature. attainment is examined exhaustively this study.
